I am deeply honored to have the Obamanos Coat accepted for display in the Permanent Collection of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.! I am humbled that something I created will be a part of US history and will be a national treasure into perpetuity-- it is a dream come true! The Obamanos Coat celebrates a moment in U.S. and world history that will never recur: the first elected "African American" U.S. President.  It will be part of the Obama Campaign Exhibit in the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture!
